House history

Today our vineyard represents 10.5 hectares of vines across 4 villages of the Montagne de Reims including Villers-Allerand, Rilly-La-Montagne, Chigny-Les-Roses, and Ludes, in 2 villages of the Côte de Sézanne with Sézanne and Vindey, and in the Vallée de la Marne with Barzy sur Marne. The grape varieties of the estate are dominated by Chardonnay at 40%, followed by Pinot Noir at 34% and Pinot Meunier at 27%. The majority of our vineyard is classified as 1er Cru, accounting for 72% of our wine heritage. The implementation of sustainable viticulture on the estate focuses on environmental respect, which remains a less demanding viticulture in terms of phytosanitary products. We remain faithful to traditional practices while using modern techniques. In the vineyard, our attention is aimed at respecting the soils with the grassing of several plots, mechanical weeding, and soil work to promote microbial life and rooting. Green work, particularly bud thinning and trellising, are practices carried out meticulously in the vineyard to reduce the presence of diseases, which limits inputs. These two practices contribute to promoting optimal maturity, a healthy sanitary state, and the high quality of the future harvest. Since March 2019, the entire vineyard area of the estate has been certified HVE (High Environmental Value). This certification is based on criteria for biodiversity respect, phytosanitary strategies, and fertilization. The multitude of our terroirs combined with all these practices guarantees the authenticity of our champagnes and reveals the identity of our different terroirs.

Pale gold. The nose reveals a blend of red fruits, a floral dimension, and light herbal notes. On the palate, the wine remains focused on fruit, supported by a structure that is both generous and lively. A fragrant brut Champagne, ideal as an aperitif.
